Passionate about financial education, Joyce is launching the first season of her podcast this year. It is a show for people who work in startups—or in companies with a startup attitude. We explore financial success and lessons learned on the journey to long-term security. The show offers insights and advice about making smart financial decisions, as well as strategies for protecting and preserving wealth. Entrepreneurs, startup employees, and those whose careers revolve around the tech world are the target audience. But this podcast is also for anyone who wants to learn more about personal finance, or who simply enjoys hearing stories about business success. Guests share insider takes on entrepreneurship or working as an employee in a tech company.
Joyce holds a Graduate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning, with distinction, from the University of California, a Master of Science in Taxation from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. She has served on the boards of both the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the California Society of CPAs and the San Francisco Chapter of The Financial Planning Association as Public Relations Chairperson. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the founding member of Financial Planning Professionals study group.
Joyce lives in Marin County, California, with her husband and son. In her free time she enjoys swimming and opera.
