Biography
Throughout my 30 year career I have served as a financial problem solver for both individuals and businesses. I began my career with Arthur Andersen and spent five years in public accounting as a CPA. I subsequently attended the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago where I studied Nobel Prize winning investment strategies developed by the school's professors and used today by renowned mutual fund company, Dimensional Fund Advisors and others. After my graduate studies I worked with small and mid-sized privately owned businesses that I advised on various financial issues, including exit strategies and business acquisitions.
Outside of my professional career, I became a resource for friends and family seeking tax and other personal financial advice. In 2014 I chose to focus my career full-time on personal financial planning and wealth management.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, attending Chicago’s many local theater productions and attending to the demands of my 14 year old yellow lab, Charlie.
