What events led you to this career?
Getting laid off from the investment banking industry provided me the opportunity to really think about what I wanted to do next. I knew I wanted to work with individuals and make an impact in their lives. I reached out to a childhood friend, Thad Gilliam, about his job in financial planning. I ending up taking a job at his company. A year later, we decided to team up and start Verisail. The rest is history.
Family info:
My wife, Lindsay, and I currently reside in historic downtown Lilburn. We recently had a baby boy, Landon and a golden retriever, Cooper.
What are your interests outside of work?
Lindsay and I love to travel. Our desire is to travel to all 50 states and 7 continents. I also enjoy endurance sports. Two of my most proud accomplishments were completing Ironman Canada and running a sub 3-hour marathon. On a nice day, you can find me running trails with my dog, Cooper, playing golf, or landscaping my yard. Recently, I have taken up the hobbies of collecting rare, hard to find bourbons and making craft cocktails. I am also an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.
