Thomas Gore is the Founder and President of Core Advisors, Ltd. His belief in comprehensive, holistic financial planning built on a foundation of proactive personal service is the structure on which Core Advisors was founded.
After just a few short years of working in traditional brokerage environments, Thomas knew he was meant to practice as a consultant, not a salesperson. Since 2002 Thomas has worked to build a fee-only consulting firm removing any bias from the traditional product sales seen so often today.
His vast experience has allowed him to build a firm that is solely focused on the client, not anyone or anything else.

Thomas has worked with clients from career onset to enjoying retirement, and has developed strategies to help with each facet of life. With an intimate knowledge of the dental profession, Thomas has developed a niche specialty dedicated to dental professionals helping them incorporate all aspects of their personal and business planning to provide a structured, clear strategy yielding a life focused on what is truly important to them, and a practice designed around their life.
Thomas is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and a graduate from Presbyterian College with a BS in Business Administration.
Thomas is not only active in his professional community where he has served several terms on the board of the Financial Planning Association, but his and his family are very active in his local community. Thomas currently serves as chair of Staff-Parish Relations Committee at his church, Chapin United Methodist. He has served on the Student Improvement Counsel of Chapin Elementary, as President of the Rotary Club of Chapin Sunrise, and on the board of directors for the Chapin Chamber of Commerce, as well as many other roles.
He says his favorite achievement is his two daughters, McEwen and Mullins. His interests include spending time with his wife, Edie, and enjoying their family and friends that bless their lives daily. He can also be found on the golf course and enjoying beautiful Lake Murray.
